This collection is about processes of change: ripening, healing, collapse and repair. I love detail work because it requires an acquiescence to imperfection. In place of perfectionism comes a great capacity, a great need for care, attention, and consistency. Like change, detail work is gradual and painstaking. Its merit comes, in large part, from the act of completion alone.
